About Amanda Andrews

I’m an IT/OT Engineer with nearly a decade of experience supporting enterprise and customer-facing environments, including MSP roles where adaptability, security awareness, and clear communication were essential. My background spans infrastructure engineering, virtualization, identity and access management, and networked systems, with a growing emphasis on cybersecurity principles such as access control, network segmentation, system hardening, and risk-aware design. Over time, my role has naturally evolved toward building and supporting systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable.I bring a strong customer-service mindset to technical work, which helps translate complex technical challenges into practical, secure solutions. I believe understanding both the technology and the people using it is what leads to long-term success.I hold an Associate of Science in Cybersecurity and CompTIA Security+, and I continue to deepen my expertise through hands-on engineering work and ongoing learning. I’m particularly interested in infrastructure and security-focused engineering roles that can be performed effectively in fully remote environments.
