About Amanda Barrett

Introduction video and further information about myself: https://at-ease.de/uber-mich/ My interest in a healthy, anatomically supportive posture as well as the mental pressures of high level performance lead me to the Alexander Technique. Postural problems and dealing with stress and performance nerves, are things which often aren’t talked about in many areas of employment. It often only occurs quite late, when the person is experiencing severe discomfort. My goal is to help everyone create a balanced, comfortable workplace practises and let their higher potential unfold. My work as a musician and teacher originally brought me to this work. Now I work with clients from many different employment backgrounds with various needs from their work and everyday lives. Health and Safety in the Workplace with the Alexander Technique is one of my particular interests, including how Workplace Culture influences employees well-being. As a guest Lecturer at the University of Freiburg, I gave a Seminar in Health and Safety in the Workplace with the Alexander Technique to Masters of Business and Masters of Economics students (Winter Semester 2017/2018).
