About Amanda Barthel
I am a first-generation undergraduate university student who earned my BA in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University in Interpersonal & Family Relations. I worked as a state certified Applied Behavioral Analysis therapist for children with Autism spectrum disorder & other developmental disabilities. I was the sole in-field clinician on an international workshop case in Amman, Jordan and was awarded Therapist of the Year in 2015. Afterwards, I transitioned to managing a home health agency and became an on & off-site contracted vendor with Cedars Sinai Medical Center. I am now a Program Coordinator at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and USC's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. I am currently pursuing my Associate Degree in Registered Nursing at Santa Monica College.
