About Amanda Bates

Professional, innovative and enthusiastic individual, who demonstrates the ability to positively lead, influence, and motivate others through change. Focussed on digital health to enhance patient care in line with key national strategy and policy to enable safe, efficient, effective, person-centred, quality care. With a clinical background in both the Cardiac and Critical care specialities it was important to create a culture of learning, knowledge sharing and professional development. As Project Lead I have facilitated organisational change with the implementation of standardised terminology to support evidence based practice, patient centred care and efficient communication across healthcare teams. With a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration I supported the implementation of a Time and Attendance and eRostering system, creating fair, equitable and timely schedules for healthcare professionals. I have completed the MSc in Digital Health Transformation. As part of my current role I aim to encourage a shared vision to support the lead out of successful digital transformation at organisational and national level. I envisage the many benefits of digital health which will further augment Nursing knowledge and practice, enhance the experience of the service user and improve clinical outcomes throughout the healthcare journey. I have a demonstrated history of working within the hospital & health care industry. Skilled in Communication, Project Management, Leadership, Policy development, Education/ training management and Curriculum design supported by clinical competence within an acute and private care setting.
