About Amanda Baxter

Self motivated with over fifteen years brand and marketing experience in the wine and spirits industry, in UK and Europe, specialising in:* Brand management * Trade Marketing* Consumer Marketing * Buying and Operations * Training * Event Management * Social Media * Copywriting * Product Development * Analytics and reportingIndustry education includes Champagne Academy 2012 and WSET Diploma (unit 3 to go). People’s Choice Drinks Award judge 23/24 & lead judge 24/25 My career has focused on managing a broad range of industry brands in small and medium-sized businesses. This suits my style which is very engaged and hands-on and allows me to enjoy seeing the results, as they happen. I have built both new and established brands in the on and off trade, from national accounts through to the luxury and independent sectors. The single element that links everything in this industry is the people, and as a 'hospitality baby' growing up around hotels, relationship building is key. I am utterly passionate about promoting good quality wine, spirits, beers and non-alcoholic alternatives to the consumer. Most recently, I chose to operate as a consultant to allow me to balance a house move and changing family scheduling needs however, as these have settled, I am open to both contract and permanent roles. On a personal note, I am training in British Sign Language, volunteering regularly and have reached BSL Level 2. I hope to use this skill to bring more accessibility to the industry.
