About Amanda Blanksby

I am currently the managing consultant for the Ports and Marine team, with Worley Consulting in Perth. I am responsible for the day to day management of the team, ensuring all internal and client requirements are achieved from a resource and cost perspective. I have over 27 years of engineering experience mainly within the maritime engineering discipline, working on numerous projects mainly in Western Australia and Hong Kong. This has ranged throughout the project lifecycle from pre-project study, through to design and project implementation to construction supervision. I studied Civil Engineering at University of Birmingham, with management being the focus of my Masters degree. During the initial few years of my career I gained exposure to various civil engineering disciplines and progressed towards being specialised in the marine structural engineering field. I am an organised person and establish good client relationships. I am skilled and qualified to manage marine structures focused projects, including project timelines, tracking and reporting progress, overseeing cost control and invoicing, along with the management of engineering inputs.
