I've always had a deep love of learning. As a kid, I'd go through phases where certain topics would capture my attention and I'd want to learn as much as I could until the next topic caught my eye. For a long time, I wanted to work at a library just so I'd have so much knowledge within easy reach. So really, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that it was while working at a library that I found what I really wanted to do: becoming a programmer. I went to a coding day camp that was offered for free by the library I worked at. I got to learn a little bit about programming- enough that I could create a blog using Django and Python. At the end of that day, I was one of the few who had the blog up and running. I knew right then that this was what I wanted to do. I went back to school, got a tech-based degree, and I've never looked back. I'm now a frontend developer and I get to continue to learn every day. Technology is an ever-changing world with new knowledge coming out all the time. It can be a whirlwind, but it's exciting. Every program I work on is a logic puzzle that I get to help solve, every day is a chance to improve. Whether it's getting better at something I already know or learning something that's new to me, that inquisitive kid in me is happy to have so much to learn.
