Economic Development Professional | Communications Strategist Passionate professional with experience in both the private and public sector. Committed to driving sustainable economic growth and fostering effective communication strategies to transform communities and organizations. As an Alumna of California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), my passion for economic development started as a project manager for the Office of Business Research and Analysis. In this role, I researched and wrote economic impact reports and business plans for multiple industries across California. In 2020, I began working for the San Diego North Economic Development Council (SDNEDC) to promote economic prosperity throughout North County. This is where I began to hone my professional skills as a Marketing and Events Coordinator. I continued to advance within the organization, becoming the Director of Research and Municipal Services where I oversaw Innovate78 contracts and coordination, event planning, report publishing, and program curation. In 2022, I transitioned to the public sector as a Senior Management Analyst for Economic Development. In this role, I am responsible for business expansion and attraction efforts, community promotion, and business liaison services. I'm also continuing to build upon my experience in communications management, overseeing an external contractor to facilitate city-wide communications needs. With a proven track record in economic development, I am committed to leveraging communications efforts to facilitate positive change and empower communities.
