About Amanda Brown

My experiences in college and my job in the payroll department of Colorado Mesa University has given me a set of skills that I can utilize in my future. My position in payroll has provided me with a wonderful opportunity at office experience. This position has allowed me to improve and learn new skills that I am eager to use in future positions. The main point of my work is to be on the lookout for any minuscule mistake or discrepancy in employee paperwork. Another main part of my job is to review if students are eligible to work and to set up their jobs if they were cleared. Multiple skills of mine have improved due to this job including my sorting, filing, attention to detail, and my communication skills. At the end of the day, I believe that this position is an exceedingly beneficial opportunity that will result in a better future for myself.
