I’m currently working as a Registrar and Office Manager in the education sector, where I support students, streamline operations, and coordinate academic programs with care and precision. This role has been a meaningful next step in my career—and one that would not have been possible without developing stronger digital literacy. Becoming more comfortable with student data systems, learning platforms, and digital communication tools has enhanced how I problem-solve, collaborate, and serve both students and staff. My professional background includes teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to adult learners across private international schools in the GTA, alongside experience in education administration, project coordination, and digital marketing. These roles have deepened my understanding of how learners engage with both content and community. In recent years, I’ve become increasingly curious about the field of Learning Design. I’m currently exploring this interest through coursework and self-study—building knowledge in instructional strategies, content creation, and learner-centered design. I’ve also had hands-on experience using platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle, which have shaped my understanding of digital learning environments from both the learner and administrator perspectives. My goal is to continue growing in my current role while expanding my skill set in areas that support meaningful, accessible, and inclusive learning experiences—whether that’s through better student support systems, creative content delivery, or thoughtful program design.
