I'm passionate about working with people and strengthening relationships. I love coaching, training, and facilitating in a variety of settings. I hope to encourage others in their professional development and practice/professional goals. In my current work, I come alongside child welfare leaders, staff, and community partner organizations to strengthen practice and build resilient teams. Through coaching, consulting, policy work and training design, I partner with counties and agencies to improve decision making, support staff well-being, and ensure community members receive the highest quality of care. As the founder of Carlson Consulting LLC, I bring over a decade of experience in child welfare and social services. My style is collaborative, strengths-based, and guided by a commitment to social justice, advocacy, and inclusion. Outside of work I love to bake sweets, never cook the same meal twice and host dinner parties. I love my chickens, finding travel deals and going on family adventures.
