About Amanda Cochnauer

Hello! My name is Amanda, I'm 28 and have been working for the entirety of my adult life. At 18 I started working as a retail worker at KMart, where I worked in sales at the Jewelry Counter and in the Electronics Department, which were both big ticket sale departments where I used my customer service skills to help persuade customers to buy the pricier items. After getting offered a new job that paid more, I then continued my sales career at MetroPCS, the cell phone company. I worked in store where I made commission selling phones and service plans, as well as tacking on accessories or extra phone lines where I could squeeze them in. This job was definitely a test to my customer service skills, and I personally think it helped my communication and sale skills grow exponentially. My next and current job adventure was something out of the realm of retail and sales that I was used to, I started working as an Office Assistant for a cleaning company, we focus on mainly Post-Construction Cleanings and Janitorial Work. Over the years I have moved up the ladder and was promoted to the Office Manager, which gave me a multitude of new responsibilities, such as writing proposals for jobs, dispatching our cleaners to job sites, dealing with frustrated customers, all while continuing my original Office Assistant work, such as QuickBooks, Excel, Document Management, along with other organization and office work. I am currently looking for a remote job that will help me navigate my upcoming move from California to Texas much smoother, as I can move in and already have a job lined up, which with definitely help reduce the stress of moving so far away from the only home I've ever known.
