About Amanda Cohen

Registered Architect; Pennsylvania LEED Green Associate I have 5 years experience and currently work on Higher Education, sports, laboratory, and government projects as a licensed Architect in Philadelphia. I am passionate about creative, sustainable, and functional design that integrates digital technologies and involves the end-user through the design process. I graduated from Drexel University’s 2+4 Bachelor of Architecture program Magna Cum Laude with a Construction Management minor. I was the recipient of the Alpha Roh Chi Medal which recognized my ‘leadership service for school and department, and promise of real professional merit through attitude and personality’ and was a finalist for my Thesis project. I was President of Drexel’s AIAS chapter and served on the Board for four years. I also served on the AIAS National Finance Committee simultaneously. I am a co-chair of the Women’s group at EwingCole where I work with a Steering Committee to organize professional networking, skills building, and social connection events office and firm-wide that aim to support and bring together the women at EwingCole. I also created, and now lead, the W@EC Newsletter Committee, producing a quarterly newsletter to share upcoming & past W@EC events for each office, recognition of women’s promotions, female new hires, online resources, and more, shared firm-wide. I stay involved with Drexel’s Architecture program as an invited juror for 5th year Studio critiques.
