Overall nursing experience of 9 years. I began with Midland Community Healthcare Services shortly after graduation. Experience includes Pediatric Nursing in an primary care outpatient clinic. Within this role I educated families on infection prevention strategies, medication administration along with preventive care including administering vaccines. Promoting to Infection Preventionist in October 2020, I have developed and implemented infection control policies and protocols in healthcare settings, conducting of regular surveillance of infection rates and trends and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. Collaborations with clinical teams and education to staff on best practices for infection prevention and control. Education to staff on topics of hand hygiene, personal protective equipment and outbreak management. In addition, continue to make sure strong communication was conducted along with effectively interacting with staff, patients, and community resources.
