About Amanda Connor

I graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Musical Theater in 2017. After graduating I was a performer in local dance projects and companies, i.e, Jim Bunting Dance Co, MoDa Movement Collective, guest performer with Brian Saunders JUNK, and Jewelz Entertainment. During that time I also taught childhood early development and Dance/Arts classes at NEST Center City. I spent 5 years working at NEST and during that time I was promoted from assisting parties, to leading parties and eventually becoming the Events Coordinator at NEST. While coordinating large events for NEST I hosted Alicia Santucci's, from Santucci's Pizza, event of 200+. I continued performing in the tri state area for major corporate events like Raymor and Flannigan's 50th Anniversary event with KN Dance Entertainment. Eventually I became the lead dancer and manager for renowned entertainment company, Jewelz Entertainment. During this time I also took a teaching position at one of the best pre-schools in Philadelphia, Greene Towne Montessori, where I continued helping the youth grow in early childhood development. I took a pivot in my career in 2023, and challenged myself into utilizing my skills as a performer to becoming a top producer Supervising Agent with Globe Life American Income: Almeida Organization. I have continued to grow as a sales & client relationship manager, while performing with the most elite entertainment agencies in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York area. In 2024, I pivoted back to teaching and recently accepted a position at Helping Hands Family Autism services to be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in the ABA programs. I'm eager to continue growing in my career path, utilizing all of the skills I've gained in so many versatile roles I've experienced and take on this new step into furthering my teaching skills as an RBT!
