About Amanda Corbin

As an experienced people leader, I am approachable, responsible, and dedicated with a strong work ethic. My professional development and opportunities have enabled me to step into leadership roles and accelerate my skills across customer relations, human resources, finance, payroll, and general management. With a value based and empathetic approach, I am passionate about making a difference where I can, which is also demonstrated through my volunteer work. I hold a Bachelor of Business specialising in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations and am a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand. I am committed to ongoing learning and development as a professional and also personal self-development under-taking distance learning in postgraduate studies in 2021 and again in 2024 studying Masters of Organisational Psychology. A passionate and committed volunteer I have 20 years experience as a member of GirlGuiding NZ and was a Unit Team Leader, facilitating activities, overseeing fundraising campaigns and promoting the organisation. I have also under-taken full training for Eldercare Volunteering organisation and am a loyal and giving person who enjoys giving back to the community.
