About Amanda Denny

I am a 2012 University of Florida graduate, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I am currently employed at West Coast Ketamine Center as an IV infusion RN administering ketamine therapy and other medications to patients under conscious sedation. I have acquired nursing skills and experience in a variety of settings specializing in mental disorders, including various affective, behavioral, cognitive and perceptual abnormalities. Specific units include Acute Adult Psychiatry I & II, Child & Adolescent psychiatry, Substance Abuse & Addiction, and Eating Disorders. I have over 4.5 years as an infusion nurse administering Ketamine for depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, etc. I have the ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively. My ability to get along with others, to make necessary adjustments to my surroundings, and successfully coordinate in a fast-paced environment have all contributed to my growth in nursing. I am always looking for ways to improve my efficiency and skills, and I am confident I would be a valuable asset to any facility. In addition to my nursing skills, I would bring strong leadership and organizational skills through my extra-curricular involvement. Nursing coordinators and other staff members have commented on my ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a level of enthusiasm for the project at hand.
