About Amanda Diedricks

As a highly organised and compassionate person, I make a great team member and leader. I believe that people and information are an organisation's greatest assets and that easy access to information, and the opportunity to grow skills is key to organisational growth. I enjoy teaching people how to access and navigate diverse electronic resources, which has seen me become an experienced digital trainer. Digital literacy skills are essential for the development of people's opportunities to participate and be digitally included in our current and future society, including the workplace. The future will be increasingly linked and online. My other work experiences include working with diverse collections in both physical & digital collections, management of digital repositories, cataloguing, mentoring & coaching people, promoting library services, and collections including special collections, seeking solutions for workplace efficiency, increasing productivity in teams, and working on projects. I love learning, and in particular goal-making. Currently, I am learning about digital marketing, heritage/special collections, digital archiving, front-end web development, software development, and UX design.
