About Amanda Dobert

As a Laboratory Generalist at Antech Diagnostics, I process, run, and prepare samples for send out, performing tests such as Chemistry, T4, SDMA, CBC, PT, PTT, Platelet count, Reticulocytes, and UA. I ensure all required quality control is done per QA guidelines, and I communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. I graduated from Hollins University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 2022, where I developed a strong interest in the genetic and molecular biology field, especially in research of treatments for major diseases. I gained experience in an educational laboratory setting, where I learned skills such as DNA isolation, PCR, and gel electrophoresis. I'm motivated to apply and expand my laboratory skills in a professional and dynamic environment, where I can contribute to the advancement of science and health.
