I got accepted into university for English Literature. However, I chose to study Hospitality & Tourism Management, which taught me a variety of administrative and hands-on skills. I still have a great passion for history and writing. My career evolved from a position at the Front Office of a busy hotel downtown Vancouver to taking charge of Administration and Customer Relationship Management at a custom apparel company. Subsequently, I was in charge of administration for one of the leading cruise agencies in Canada. I relocated to Vancouver Island to work as a sales administrator for Volkswagen Victoria and it was a pleasure to explore the automotive industry and handle all administrative aspects of the car dealership. I am proud and happy to explore my career in the public sector with the Government of British Columbia.
