About Amanda Ebling

I'm a college student majoring in business who has a multiple set of skills and is looking for constant growing, with quite a diversified work and study background. I believe the variety of abilities is my greatest strength and I have a good aptitude for analyzing situations from different points of view and exercise that regularly. On my daily life, I enjoy cooking, especially for the people I love; learning about my interests, such as coding, biology and languages; and also doing physical activities which allow contemplative practices, including walking, hiking and biking. My favorite hobby, however, is scuba diving! The bottom of the ocean is the best place to be. My first profesional experience with programming was teaching game development to children and teenagers. When I started, I had no previous knowledge on the topic, however, being encouraged by my former supervisor, I dedicated myself to learning and in a few weeks I was teaching my own classes. It was thought-provoking, and although I didn't work directly with any code languages, I learned a lot about programming logics and basic concepts such as variables, functions and loops. Beginning 2023, I have resumed studying through Harvard's CS50x. Coding is something that, at the same time it challenges me, it also amuses and entertain me, and it has been really important to my self-development.
