About Amanda Galarza

I am an organized and highly motivated associate therapist who is interested in the realms of education, human behavior, mental health, and social justice. I was trained in Integrative Systemic Therapy and value providing empathetically attuned and culturally responsive mental healthcare to diverse and underrepresented populations in the Chicagoland area. I am passionate about working with clients navigating intersectional inequality and various systemic constraints in their lives. I am striving to build my clinical skills and further my knowledge of theories I have been drawn to in my training, such as Emotion Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
