About Amanda Garsys

Amanda is a junior agent at Sol Talent, a leading talent agency, headquartered in the Southeastern United States. Sol represents professional talent for television, film, commercial, industrial video, music video, voice and print work. Our clients include award-winning casting directors and filmmakers, major studios, production companies and distributors for both film and television series, as well as internationally recognized products and services for commercial and print work. Amanda began her industry career working in casting and production for ABC, CBS and major film studios. Starting out as a child actor and model herself, Amanda soon turned her attention behind the scenes to work as an assistant at a busy talent agency where she answered phones and faxed scripts. She also recorded and posted client tapes to casting sites long before the self-taping era. After completing her studies at the College of Charleston, she worked as a costumer and stylist for several film, TV and commercial projects. Her desire to see actors succeed led her to Sol Talent as an agent. Amanda grew up between Atlanta and Germany before relocating to Charleston. She is helpful and has never met a stranger. When she’s not in the office, Amanda enjoys the beach, running, baking and spending time with her family and dogs.
