About Amanda Gilmer

As a direct result of more than 25 years marketing and sales experience Chord UK Ltd was formed in March 2001 offering telemarketing and research services. Initially working with SME clients, Chord now delivers integrated direct and digital marketing campaigns for public, not-for-profit and private sector clients. Prior to this, my experience was gained through 13 years working within the newspaper advertising industry, leading a team of 45, followed by running a successful sales agency for 10 years selling client products within the UK via exhibitions and a field sales team. Since Chords inception, I have been developing our capability to deliver government and EU-funded business support campaigns including international trade, manufacturing, apprenticeships and learning and development support services. Part of this development was to lead the quality and performance improvement at Chord via ISO9001 and Cyber Essentials accreditation. Over the past ten years my primary focus has been to develop the people and processes within Chord to be able to deliver specific services to Membership Organisations and Associations. We are now regularly delivering effective member acquisition, renewal, retention and win-back campaigns to many clients within this sector.
