About Amanda Gomez

With over seventeen years of experience in health information management (HIM) and privacy, I am a central operation specialist at Austin Regional Clinic (ARC), where I oversee the document imaging and HIM operations for multiple locations. I am also a registered health information technician and demonstrate my expertise and commitment to the field. Currently, I am the Director of HIM and Privacy Officer at Cuero Health, where I am leading the implementation and maintenance of the electronic health record system, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and manage the HIM staff and budget. I have strong skills in release of information, document imaging, HIM operations, and privacy and security, as well currently obtaining a bachelor's degree in health information management and informatics from Texas State University. I am passionate about improving the quality and accessibility of health information and ensuring the protection of patient privacy. I am looking for an opportunity to leverage my skills and experience to contribute to the mission and vision of a leading healthcare organization.
