About Amanda Gonzalez

For the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of working with at-risk children and families, where I’ve seen firsthand the power of connection, advocacy, and support. Now, as I pursue my MSW at the University of Alabama and intern as a Mental Health Therapist, I am even more passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges, build resilience, and unlock their potential. My work as a Community Outreach Worker and Field Educator gave me a deep understanding of the issues families face every day, from navigating complex systems to overcoming personal struggles. I’ve collaborated with community organizations, conducted family assessments, and implemented interventions that directly uplift those in need. Today, I’m diving deeper into mental health, emotional support, and advocacy—continuing my mission to be a resource and ally for those who need it most.
