About Amanda Grannas

I am a project engineer with five years of experience in technical advisory for projects that drive the sustainable energy transition. I have a M.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Conversion Processes and Fundamentals of Business Administration. My areas of expertise include PtX with its various production methods and end-uses (derivatives, e.g. NH3, CH4, and MeOH, and re-electrification), renewable energy sources, energy storage, carbon capture, hybrid energy solutions, and conventional energy technologies. In addition, I possess a TÜV hydrogen expertise certification. I hold versatile language skills and professional experience from projects in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Through my diverse background, I am able to approach complex projects effectively and guide them towards success. Working in different languages drives and motivates me. In addition to fluent skills in Finnish, Swedish, German, English, Swiss German, and French, I possess a conversational level in Arabic and Chinese, which I am passionate about using and improving further. I am a self-starter, ambitious young engineer who is always looking for challenging opportunities, both professionally and personally. I can work under pressure, but I am also happy to start working with other people or independently in the same job. In addition, my background in project management and international business has provided me with good intercultural skills essential in today's workplace environment. Personally, I am passionate about languages (mainly just talking :)), yoga, handcrafting, swimming, mountaineering, hiking, and gardening.
