About Amanda Green

If I've requested to connect and I don't know you it's likely I think you're interested in supporting, building or investing in early stage startups (particularly underrepresented founders) and I'm keen to talk about sharing deal flow, networks, moral support or partnership opportunities. I'm a Brighton-based business builder and ex-Head of Operations for early stage tech startups. I help founders and investors to build communities, run events, and coach founders on company building and digital wellbeing. I help founders with fundraising strategy and connecting to funding. I care deeply about helping to build responsible tech companies in way that's unique to each founder's strengths, goals and personality. I angel invest micro-checks (usually £5k) and am passionate about driving the founder, investor and NED ecosystem forward in diversity and inclusion to make innovation work better for the whole population. I worked in online safety for the past few years and became especially interested in misinformation, disinformation and their effects on society, politics and economics. I am now learning more and thinking a lot about what we need to move to a society where people have the skills, knowledge and tools to communicate responsibly and effectively. I think about quality over quantity, communication aligned to business strategy and how to represent concepts (either in writing or visually) to other people and for my own thinking processes.
