About Amanda Harvey

When I was younger, I dreamed of being on TV. As a child, I wanted to be the next Disney star. As a teenager, I wanted to be the next Oprah. The mere thought of seeing my name and face on screen gave me goosebumps. It's all I wanted. It wasn't until I went to college and majored in Broadcast Journalism that I realized I am so NOT meant to be on TV. Surprising everyone who knew me, and even myself, I preferred to be behind the scenes of the show, and so, I began focusing on my true passion - writing. Today, I work behind the scenes using written communication in digital and print spaces to tell a story and drive people to take action. I'm behind the scenes of blog posts, emails, newsletters, website copy, press releases, newspaper articles, social media posts, and flyers in your mailbox. As a stay-at-home-working mom, I'm often writing what you're reading with a baby on one leg and a toddler on the other. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
