My current position has me connecting service members and their families to military and community resources, with a large emphasis on their mental health. In order to have a lasting impact on the service member: we need to address their food, housing, employment, and familial needs. One 45-minute mental health session a week cannot overcome the other 10,035 minutes with little to no resources.
