About Amanda Ince
Originally a Froebel educated early years teacher working in deprived areas, my career has taken me through early years to Higher Education with leadership roles across both private and public sector. I joined the Institute of Education in 2007 and in 2014 it merged with UCL. Since 2018/19 I have been an associate professor there with a special interest in professional learning and leadership. My research interests focus on empowering early years and primary education professionals to be agents of change for the children and families that they work with. I am passionate about enabling sustained positive change through a facilitated action research approach and developing future leaders.
