Pilates Instructor since 2015. Trained with Body Contol Pilates on mat and studio equipment. Comprehensive Studio Certified, Back Care Professional, Specialise in Ante/Post-Natal Exercise, Menopause, Neurological Conditions, EDS and Hypermobility, Injury Rehab, Bone Health (Osteoporosis), Cancer patients, Elite Sports Performance Training. My fully equipped studio in Chislehurst offers privates and duets and a limited number of group mixed ability mat classes. I do most of my work with people wanting to ease their back pain or overcome some form of mobility issue. Working on a 1:1 basis means I can really address the client’s needs and at the same time teach them what they need to know about their own body. This in turn enables them to safely progress to other forms of movement and exercise pain free. I focus on a very functional approach to movement through an understanding of biomechanics & biotensegrity with the fundamental belief that ‘movement is medicine’. I am also proficient in the practice and teaching of the classical Pilates repertoire. Knowing what type of movement is appropriate for an individual at any given time is a skill acquired through in-depth regular training with Body Control Pilates and other highly respected training organisations. My wealth of experience working with people of all ages and populations means I can use Pilates and safe movement training for anyone who is keen to improve their strength, mobility and overall good health.
