About Amanda Jordan

Hair is the fabric upon which I create my art. In my current role as a stylist and educator I work behind the chair full time specializing in dimensional color services, haircutting to include the straight razor, and textured hair of all types. Retail is a part of the guest experience and educating guests on what is best for their hair care needs is always a part of my guest conversations. I help oversee operational aspects within the salon to include ordering and inventory, appointment booking and confirming, mitigating customer concerns, and organizing team meetings and trainings. As a salon educator I am responsible for overseeing and executing the education plan for the salon team. Annually I set goals based on an individual basis to create a path that allows our team of stylists to stay current in salon trends, advance their current skill sets, and refresh established skills. In addition I work one on one developing new talent building confidence through technical skill, constructive criticism and a positive learning environment.As an Aveda Color Purefessional I work alongside Aveda to educate network stylists on how to use, utilize, and work with Aveda color systems confidently.
