About Amanda Khong

I found my love for stories when I was really young, but somewhere along the way, I lost it. I spent years trying to win it back before realizing that the reason I fell out of love with stories is I wasn't listening hard enough. I forgot to realize that our entire world is made up of stories—from company cultures to fiction. And now I'm on a lifelong mission of listening and appreciating how to tell a good story, but most importantly, how to listen to one. I believe the most important skill we can learn as individuals and as companies is true and genuine connection. Because community is stronger than individuals and we're stronger together. I use this knowledge to build relationship-first partnerships, team-oriented strategies, data projections, and analysis. This helps me stay true to company brand and voice, helps me understand customer intentions, and discern optimal editorial vision. The most important lesson I've learned in my personal and professional life is that everyone's story is worth listening to and learning from.
