About Amanda Kristofco

Dedicated and passionate educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching English Language Arts to students in grades 7 through 12, including more than 17 years specifically focused on supporting students with disabilities. Certified in Principal K-12, Special Education N-12, and English 7-12 in Pennsylvania, I bring a strong commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments through the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). As an MTSS Facilitator and member of the Child Study Team, I excel in data analysis and strategizing interventions to support struggling learners. My leadership extends to advising extracurricular clubs, including the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) and Aequalis, as well as the Class of 2018. I have developed a vocational program that partners with local businesses to provide meaningful work experiences for students, enhancing their employability skills. My administrative experience includes budgeting, scheduling, teacher supervision, curriculum development, student discipline, and navigating due process proceedings. I am committed to creating a collaborative and supportive learning atmosphere that empowers all students to reach their potential.
