About Amanda Kung
For a long time now, I have wanted to be the type of teacher who taught her students how to find their motivation in a genuine love for learning, and not just getting a specific letter grade. I want to make sure my students know that they are more than a report card. This is my motivation. After receiving my Bachelor of Inurance at Tamkang University in New Taipei City, I trained to teach Mandarin at National Taiwan University in Taiwan in 2011. Since then, I have used my personal experience as a native Chinese speaker, and my formal training, to students in both small classes and in one-on-one sessions. During our time together, my students can expect to learn and practice the four essential skills of learning a language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. My goal is to help my students become confident and fluent in Chinese.
