About Amanda L. Ramirez

I possess more than 17 years of progressive experience in Real Estate, Education Administrative Support, Records Keeping, and Contracting. My professional history began working as an entrepreneur and it has brought me success through my passion and self-motivation. Most recently, I was hired by USACE as a Realty Specialist. My experience includes duties such as evaluating proposed real estate actions for environmental, cultural, and public use impacts. I inspect public facilities such as sanitary facilities, trails, boat ramps, and picnic areas to ensure all areas comply with established regulations for the use of federal or fee-simple property. Before my employment with USACE, I practiced Real Estate, I’ve taught for Clear Creek Independent School District and currently teach real estate classes at San Jacinto College. I also teach continuing education classes with my real estate firm. My responsibilities with teaching at San Jacinto include helping students prepare for state licensing. I teach them how to write contracts and give them insight into examples of personal experiences that cannot be learned from books. This business program also earns them an associate degree. Some of my more administrative activities include communicating, consulting, corresponding, and negotiating with customers, project managers, stakeholders, and higher authority.
