About Amanda L.

After studying Baking and Patisserie at Vancouver Community College in 2008, I made the transition into the financial services industry. With an extensive background in customer service and administration, I joined Dixon Mitchell in 2017. Now as an Associate for the firm, I am a direct point of contact for clients, and planners. My responsibilities include assisting with portfolio management, account set-up and maintenance of account documents, in addition to coordination of ongoing client communication and meeting management. Working and studying in various environments has given me the opportunity to develop social, communicative and strong customer service skills, enabling me to build professional relationships, adopting a confident approach when dealing with colleagues and clients alike. One of my passions outside of the office is charity work, and since 2018 I have volunteered for Union Gospel Mission (UGM) supporting those affected by poverty, addiction, and homelessness. In my spare time, I enjoy attending church, baking, cooking, exploring Vancouver’s culinary scene, hiking, listening to music, volunteering in the Downtown Eastside (DTES), and watching true crime documentaries.
