About Amanda Lauson

I am a fourth-year student at the University of Dayton working towards completing my Bachelor's of Administration degree with focus in marketing and management. A few things that motivate me are my desire to expand my knowledge in my career field and my aspiration to become successful. My current interests are digital marketing, sales, and management. My strongest skills include communication, initiative, collaborative problem solving, and critical thinking. I have been interested in business for as long as I can remember. My mother, who also works in the business field, piqued my interest in digital marketing and management at a very young age. I am passionate about making a difference in the corporate environment and collaborating with other people. Teamwork and initiative are very important values to me, fueling my desire to further my education and build my career. I decided to pursue my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Dayton due to their diverse business program and great reputation. Throughout my education, I have gained many skills and experiences that I have put forth into building my portfolio. It laid the foundation for me to begin pursuing opportunities directly relating to my studies, such as internships. Throughout my time at the University of Dayton, I have strengthened my interest in both business as a whole as well as my two focuses in marketing and management. In my most recent role as a sales and marketing intern at Panini North America, I have further developed my knowledge and have gained great experience. My duties in this position consist of content creation, data analytics, market research, sales outreach, and collaborating on team projects. With having my first real in-office job exposure, I have obtained much insight into the business landscape and the ability to further strengthen crucial skills such as communication, creativity, problem solving, and working with Microsoft applications.
