About Amanda MacHado

As a Manager of Operational Excellence at 24 Hour Home Care, I lead initiatives that optimize operational processes, boost efficiency, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the entire organization. I apply a Lean Six Sigma philosophy with high accountability to set standards and measure outcomes. I hold a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and a master's degree in Disability Studies. I have almost 15 years of experience in the disability field, working with both children and adults, and developing employment sites, networking with local businesses, securing employment placements, and advocating for inclusion in the community for individuals with disabilities. I also 10 years of leadership and management experience. I plan, organize, monitor, and manage daily operations and processes of a branch office and a team, providing support and guidance, implementing and executing initiatives and programs, and collaborating cross-departmentally. I am committed to creating enriching opportunities for people with disabilities, and to delivering excellent customer service.
