About Amanda Mallmes

Most business owners don’t need another accountant — they need a strategist who can translate their numbers into decisions. As a CPA and CGA, I’ve spent my career helping small and mid-sized Canadian businesses make sense of their money so they can grow with confidence. My work sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy — turning chaos into clarity and numbers into next steps. I challenge the conventional accountant stereotype because financial growth shouldn’t feel like a foreign language. Fluent in English, Bullock, and Sarcasm, I use humour and straight talk to make finance approachable, practical, and even (dare I say) enjoyable. My mission is to help close the 1% gap — supporting driven entrepreneurs who want to build businesses that last, not just survive. Whether you’re trying to get a handle on cash flow, increase profit, or prepare for an eventual exit, I help you make smarter, faster decisions based on data — not gut instinct. What it looks like in practice- Building financial systems that help owners see problems before they hit the bank account- Structuring businesses for profitable growth and scalability- Guiding leaders through pricing, forecasting, and exit readiness — without the jargon. If you’re ready to make your business work for you (instead of you working for it), let’s connect. Visit or reach out here — I’m always up for a good conversation and a strong coffee.
