About Amanda McAuley

Amanda works in Stripe's M&A and investments team, focusing on the accounting for their acquisitions and strategic investments. Prior to her role at Stripe, Amanda was a Senior Manager in PwC’s Deals practice based out of Toledo, OH focusing on complex technical accounting topics under US GAAP and IFRS, such as business combinations, consolidations, financial instruments, segments, stock-based compensation, and adoption of new accounting standards. She has served clients primarily within the automotive, manufacturing, and retail spaces. In addition to Amanda’s client-facing roles, Amanda has also led technology and learning initiatives within the firm. These initiatives have included providing lecture series to audiences of 300+ on topics including financial instruments, the New Revenue Recognition Standard, and the New Leasing Standard. Prior to her role with PwC’s Deals practice, Amanda spent 3 years in PwC’s core assurance practice, coordinating the audits of Fortune 500 manufacturing companies in complex areas, such as business combinations, derivatives, and revenue recognition. Amanda spent a year studying in Strasbourg, France, earning a Bachelor’s Degree from L’ecole de Management in addition to her Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University. Amanda is a CPA in the states of Ohio and Michigan and a member of the AICPA.
