About Amanda McDonough

I am currently a Procurement Lead at Titletown Manufacturing, where I handle everything from ordering materials to managing vendor issues and sending out quotes. I work closely with our shipping department to keep things running smoothly and stay on top of late purchase orders. I interact with customers and vendors regularly. Our shop follows ISO standards, so quality and accuracy are always top of mind. Before this role, I spent 6 years as a CNC machinist. I did all my own setups and teardowns, programmed in both G-code and conversational formats, and machined a wide range of parts ranging made from aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel, hot rolled, cold rolled, bronze, brass, and everything in between. I’ve ran multiple sized vertical and horizontal machining centers, which plays along with machining small projects like shafts and spacers to very large projects such as machine frames and large die casts. I have a little bit of assembly experience, and heat treat experience. I have always handled my own inspections and machine maintenance, which taught me to be hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive. Having been on both the shop floor and the procurement side, I understand how important it is to keep things efficient, accurate, and on schedule. I enjoy problem solving, keeping jobs moving, and finding better ways to get things done.
