I have been in banking for 21 years and 17 of those years have been with Bank OZK. I started off as a Teller/CSR. I worked as an administrative assistant within our CRA Department for a little over a year before being asked to join our Underwriting team. I started out underwriting Consumer Non-Real Estate Loans (auto loans, boat loans, RV loans, CD Secured Loans)and after about a year and a half, I joined the Consumer Real Estate Underwriting team. Over my almost 6 years as an RE Underwriter, I have learned quite a bit and now underwrite our internal real estate loan products, our Home Equity Line of Credits and also Construction Loans, as well as helping with the Non-Real Estate UW side as well.
