About Amanda Morgret

I am a professional, caring, and dedicated educator committed to helping every student reach their highest potential. Throughout my years as a classroom teacher, and now in my roles serving the K–4 Library, STEAM, and Gifted programs, I continue to be a skilled instructional leader who designs engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that reach students’ diverse learning styles. In the library, I foster a love of reading and support students as they build essential literacy and digital citizenship skills. In STEAM, I guide learners through hands-on exploration, inquiry, and problem-solving as they apply creativity and critical thinking to real-world challenges. As the Gifted support teacher, I design enriched learning opportunities that nurture advanced thinking, independence, and curiosity. Each year, I work to establish a respectful rapport with students, parents, and fellow staff. I continually seek out new technologies to engage and excite learners, and I use these tools to enhance communication with families and the community. I also support other educators as they integrate technology and innovative instructional practices into their classrooms.Ultimately, my greatest moments as an educator come when I inspire students to become self-motivated, lifelong learners—whether they’re discovering a new favorite book, building in our STEAM lab, or diving deeper into enriched learning experiences.#ktifamily #hpsdawesome
