About Amanda Mueller

I am currently a second-year student within the University of Connecticut’s Genetic Counseling Professional Science Master's Program. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology, complemented by a minor in psychological sciences. Throughout my undergraduate journey, I actively contributed as a research assistant within the Biodiversity and Conservation Genomics program. It was in this capacity that I honed my skills in genome sequencing, assembly, and annotation, delving into the intricacies of genomic analysis. Beyond my academic pursuits, I serve as an administrative assistant at the Office of Early College Programs. In this role, I act as the primary point of contact for a vast community of over UConn Early College Experience students and more than 200 partner schools. Additionally, I assume responsibilities within various planning committees and undertake the role of a trainer for incoming student workers. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue my learning journey through immersive clinical rotations and active involvement in advocacy efforts.
