I started my marketing and communications career 15+ years ago after graduating from SAIT’s journalism program. Since then, I’ve developed an extensive range of skills and experience across the marketing and communications landscape. I’ve created marketing and communications strategies, managed projects, designed collateral materials, developed social media strategies, created digital and traditional ad campaigns, written articles and blog posts, managed website content, and more. I’ve had some pretty cool experiences throughout my career so far. Things like clambering up on top of a steam locomotive to decorate it with Christmas lights, overseeing a photo shoot on a ski hill, and wearing a period costume from 1910 in the Calgary Stampede parade. My latest adventure is a position with the City of Calgary as a Communications Strategist.
