About Amanda Oshaughnessy

As an Operational Risk Consultant at Sun Life, I apply my expertise in operations, communication, and psychology to identify, analyze, and mitigate physical and travel risks for the organization and its employees. I have over four years of experience in leading and supporting the Incident Reporting Centre (IRC), a strategic initiative that provides timely and accurate responses to incidents and emergencies across the globe. In my previous role as an IRC and Account Supervisor at Paragon Security, I managed the relationship between Paragon and Sun Life, coordinated and executed projects for the IRC program, and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the IRC team. I am passionate about enhancing the safety and security of people and assets, and I continuously seek to improve the processes and structures of the IRC. I hold a BA in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, and I am certified in P.A.L, CPR, and dual private investigation and security guard licensing.
