About Amanda P.

After two successful years in medical school, Amanda decided it was time to switch gears and pursue a nagging dream that had been with her since she was a child. She wanted to show the world the beauty she saw every day, from people to the most ordinary of objects. Her journey took her to Atlanta, Georgia, where she obtained a degree in Commercial Photography and interned with various artists. Working with these artists, Amanda was able to pursue other interests outside the realm of photography. She increased her studies by adding the art of graphic design and videography to her list of marketable gifts. By the age of 27, Amanda had completed her degree in graphic/web design and commercial photography. Soon after, she opened up her own studio in her hometown of Jackson, MS. Her clientele list has included United Healthcare, Jackson Hinds Comprehensive Health Center, Goss and Williams PLLC, and HUSH Magazine. Currently, Amanda is a Houston-based comprehensive digital artist, diving into the digital design and photographic world. Drawing on inspiration from her idol, Annie Leibovitz, she uses each project to share a piece of herself with the world. Her style has been described as clean and bold, a perfect combination of elegance and storytelling through the use of a lens and mouse.
