Leading an active lifestyle has always been a big part of who I am—whether I was playing intramural sports at the University of Akron or participating in the American Cancer Society’s annual relay event. It’s this passion for health that shapes my career and keeps me engaged as both a fitness center coordinator and healthcare access representative with University Hospitals Parma Medical Center. EXPERIENCE Working within the health care industry—helping people who are often in need of urgent care—has strengthened my ability to be compassionate, caring, and patient. I have more than six years of experience in front-line customer service, team building, idea generation, marketing, health and fitness, and wellness programs. Being disciplined and adept at managing my time, communicating with team members and juggling multiple responsibilities has been critical to my success in balancing two roles.
